Physik.SMART project approved
Funding of teaching and learning projects at RWTH Aachen University
The Physics.SMART project of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences was approved as one of a total of nine applications from RWTH Aachen University as part of the nationwide funding for the "Freiraum" funding line.
"Freiraum" was announced for the first time in 2022 and will fund innovative teaching and learning projects at universities in Germany every year in the future. There is no thematic focus and no recommendations from the university administrations. This is because the funding is intended to create the freedom to develop creative ideas and test experimental concepts.
Physik.SMART is being carried out as a collaborative project with the FH Aachen and was submitted by Professor Heidrun Heinke and Professor Christoph Stampfer (Physics Department).
