The perturbative gradient flow at higher orders

Abstract:
The Yang-Mills gradient flow is a successful tool for calculations in lattice QCD. Potentially, it offers intersections between the lattice and the perturbative approach to QCD. In this thesis we adopt existing techniques in order to compute observables of the gradient flow to higher orders in perturbation theory. The main result is a procedure to reduce gradient flow integrals to a set of master integrals by generating and solving a system of equations. We also present two ways to solve the master integrals. In order to verify the methods, we rederive analytic results at next-to-leading-order. We also present a first analytic result at next-to-next-to-leading-order, which was only known numerically until now.
