Career Planning Support for Students and Doctoral Candidates
The TANDEM mentoring is open to dedicated and well-qualified students (from the 3rd semester of study) and doctoral candidates from all disciplines. The program seeks to further develop the participants' competencies and supports them in their career planning activities.
In the one-year mentoring period, each participant is matched with a mentor from business or academia. In conversations and joint activities with their mentor, the mentees reflect on and define their personal and professional goals and develop individual career strategies.
The mentees will also participate in soft skills training sessions on self-marketing, career path planning, communication skills, conflict management, and others, to further improve general confidence and decision making.
Informal networking activities and evening discussion forums promote exchange between the participants. The exchange between people who are varied in experience and backgrounds helps to develop the potential of the individual mentees as well as that of the entire group.
Application Period in September
The application period for the upcoming round of the program is open between September 9 and September 30, 2013.
