Current Bachelor Thesis Topics Offered Taken

• Entanglement in fermionic systems (Terhal)
• Study of the stability of topological insulators (e.g., Majorana wire) against disorder (Hassler)
• Geometric layouts of qubits for new lattice codes (DiVincenzo).

Master's thesis

The IQI welcomes master's students from physics or other departments who wish to do a thesis in quantum information science. Master's students are expected to have taken the basic Master's course on Quantum Information which is held every summer semester. During their thesis work, students are expected to attend the Quantum Information Group Seminar.
