at the interface of quantum information and quantum many-body physics.

Research interests:

My research interests are at the interface between quantum information
theory and quantum many-body physics.  On the one hand, I apply concepts
from quantum information, and in particular entanglement theory,  to study
the physics of quantum many-body systems, both analytically and numerically.
On the other hand, I study the impact of quantum many-body phenomena
on questions in quantum computation and quantum complexity theory.
