You may easily reach Aachen by any means of transport: the city lies close to the airports Düsseldorf and Köln-Bonn and at the intersection of the highways A4 and A44. The high speed trains ICE and Thalys stop at Aachen railway station. The physics centre (Nr. 426 to 428 on map of area Melaten Nord) is located at the north-west boundaries of Aachen and is easily reached by bus, taxi or car.
