Instrumentation

Our group actually operates five ultra high vacuum scanning tunneling microscopes (UHV STMs), including a combined scanning force/scanning tunneling microscope as well as a system for electric transport measurements (300 mK/10 T). A 300 mK STM, which operates at magnetic fields up to 14 T, is still under construction. You can find further informations about the systems by clicking on the images.
