We develop and fabricate refractive x-ray lenses that are well suited for hard x-ray microscopy and microanalysis. In cooperation with the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France, we have developed an x-ray microscope based on these lenses that can resolve sub-micrometer structures inside of opaque samples.
